What are ceramides – and why are they so important for the skin?
Ceramides are natural lipid building blocks of the skin. As part of the skin barrier, they protect against moisture loss and external environmental influences. Together with other lipids, they form the so-called “mortar” between the skin cells – and thus contribute to the suppleness and resilience of the skin.
With increasing age, the skin’s natural ceramide content decreases significantly – this decline becomes visible from around the age of 30. Biomimetic – inspired by the nature of your skin
The active ingredient Lipowheat™ in Timeless Skin consists of a gluten-free organic wheat lipid extract, organic sunflower oil (Helianthus annuus) and organic rosemary leaf extract (Rosmarinus officinalis) and contains a full 7mg of glucosylceramides and ceramides per capsule. These phyto-ceramides are biomimetic – in other words, they are structurally similar to the skin’s own ceramides. Their plant-based origin enables natural integration into a vegan, modern lifestyle.
The formula also contains amaranth squalene – a plant-based lipid that is traditionally used to care for dry skin. All raw materials come from certified organic cultivation.

We do not recommend this formula during pregnancy. If you want to support your beauty during pregnancy, we recommend alternatively OILALALA Organic Skin Omega Komplex.
For our TIMELESS SKIN, we use the Lipowheat dosage of 350mg per capsule, which has been proven effective in clinical studies. The content of ceramides and glucosylceramides in this product is 2-4%.
