Vitamin D3 is obtained from organic lichen and is therefore 100% plant-based. It is embedded in a natural matrix and is readily bioavailable – without synthetic additives.
As a rule, you take one capsule every two days. In consultation with a healthcare professional, the dosage can be increased to up to two capsules a day if necessary. This corresponds to 4,000 IU of vitamin D and is considered a safe daily amount according to the Federal Institute for Risk Assessment.
For optimal absorption, we recommend taking HELLO SUNSHINE with a meal or a small snack. Foods that contain healthy fats are particularly suitable – a full meal is not necessary.
HELLO SUNSHINE contains organic reishi powder from the fruiting body. Reishi is traditionally valued and complements the formula holistically – especially in phases of increased stress. Reishi is a useful addition to HELLO SUNSHINE.

I’ve been taking these capsules for a long time. Two years ago, I stopped, and then I caught COVID in the middle of summer in Greece. I visited a doctor there who prescribed vitamin D in addition to other medications (cough syrup, etc.). I thought he must be joking—artificial vitamin D in the middle of the hot Greek summer! 😃 Back in Germany, I had my vitamin D levels checked, and they were very low. As I mentioned with magnesium, I take strong medications that hinder the absorption of these vitamins and minerals. Since then, I’ve been taking Hello Sunshine again, and, sure enough, my vitamin D levels are no longer low. My doctor says they are now within the normal range.
